Dancewerks Philosophy

Real Dance Taught By Real Dancers

All Dancewerks classes are designed with a focus on the arts to better prepare students for real-world performance endeavors. Class curriculum prepares students for local dance participation such as Orchesis, poms and musicals, as well as college preparation and readiness in dance and musical theatre.  The program features collaborative projects and partnerships along with Master Class Series and Werkshops.

Key Characteristics

  • Goal oriented classes are designed to challenge the student to discover their full potential
  • Limited class size
  • Acceptance into the program is by evaluation
  • Midwest Dance Collective is a semi-professional dance company in residence at the Barrington Artz Center and part of the Dancewerks experience
